I have been running Maple 11 under Fedora 9 Linux without problem.

I recently acquired an HP Pavillion with a 64 bit processor, and I installed the 64 bit version of Fedora 11 Linux on it.   I am trying to install the 64 bit Linux version of Maple 13 on that machine.  The installation seems to go through, but activation fails.  I called Maplesoft and was told the problem was that although the Maple program is 64 bit, the activation program binary is still the 32 bit version.  Under ubuntu, I was told, I could resolve the problem by getting the ubuntu package ia32-libs.   What might the equivalent libraries be for Fedora 11?

The activation program complained about not being able to locate something about the network, which seems to me to indicate that it actually ran, and the problem may be something else, but I don't know enough to question the tech advice.  If someone can elaborate about what actually happened, that also might be helpful.
