  • Aquí le dejo otro de mis trabajos hechos con puro matemáticas, creo que me parecio por demás plotear las alturas y medianas ya que eso se realizo en la recta de Euler.

    Hi,
    A new Physics:-Library:-SortProducts command got added to the Library, addressing the need for reordering operands in noncommutative products (Physics:-`*` and Physics:-`.`) in different ways (optional arguments of SortProducts). Note: SortProducts returns an expression mathematically...

    We’re conducting some market research, and we’re hoping some of you can help.  We’re interested in learning more about why people choose Maple over other systems, in particular Mathematica.  We know why we like Maple, but we’re interested in knowing why you do.

    We’d love to hear from anyone who either compared both systems before choosing Maple or who used to be a Mathematica user and has now switched to Maple.  What led you to make your decision?

    The list of the GUI problems is long, so I'll just summarize some of them.

    In text groups, when the writing cursor is moved, the cursor is often not visible at the new position (where it actuall knows it is at), but often remains visible in a trail of places where it previously was.

    In Help, the first letter of the search word is usually missing so that it is necessary to start with a space. Also in Help, both the scroll bar and the actual search...

    My system: Windows 8 x64, Maple 17.01 x64.

    After launching Maple we have a process maple.exe (C:\Program Files\Maple 17\jre\bin\maple.exe) that consumes approximately 80MB.

    We run the following piece of code:

    >restart;
    >for i to 1000 do
    >factorial(300);
    >end do;

    After running for the first time of this code the process maple.exe consumes 100.5MB
    After second running of this code the process maple.exe consumes 111.6MB
    third running --- 122.4MB

    I was trying to get the labels and titles in a plot to be typeset using LaTeX fonts on a computer running SUSE 12.2.  Everything worked on a Windows 7 computer with the LaTeX fonts installed.  Maple 17 would use not use the CMU Open Type fonts that were installed on the Linux computer.  After switching in the CMU True Type fonts for the CMU Open Type fonts, everything works properly in the attached worksheet on the Linux machine.

    Aqui les dejo La ecuación de la Recta de Euler, calculado desde su inicio hasta la comprobación con el comando EulerLine.

    I am pretty new to programming in Maple and trying to learn the language. One thing I needed was how to handle lists in a specific way. I have used many hours on this issue now and even asked questions in the Questions section. Other users helped me with clever tricks and I am grateful for that. What is left is however a feeling that one need to know a lot of rather Ad Hoc commands to accomplish your tasks. I looked for operations in the ListTools package, going through all...

    Let d be the Feigenbaum delta constant 4.66920160910299067185320382046620161..., a be the Feigenbaum alpha constant 2.50290787509589282228390287321821578... and m be the MRB constant 0.18785964246206712024851793405427323....

    d*m - 2 (600 a - 2537)/(5 a - 2373) = 9.232940534412995...*10^-19

    or you could write

    1/10*(d*m + 564446/(2373 - 5 a)) - 24 = 9.232940534412995...*10^-20

    I have a rather complicated expressions involving several parameters. The parameters are calibrated to some baseline. I'm interested in having a quick look at how changing each parameter changes the value of the expression. This is very standard. I wrote a procedure to create a list of values to the left and to the right of the base value for a given parameter. I then use that to look at my expression, to plot lists of expressions, and so on.

    I thought I'd share this...

    I'm sharing this in the hope it might help someone (my future self being the most likely). Since my suggestions are not perfect and a little messy, feel free to suggest better ways.

    I spend a great deal of time tweaking my plots. Oftentimes I want to add labels to the curves right onto the plot. Most of the time it's easy to do. Occasionally I struggle. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I give up.

    Below is an example of the kind of plot I sometimes create. It's not perfect.

    i noticed members use such tags in their post very rarely in mapleprimes

    and i am confused whether ?

    there is a list of special html tags that are supported in "HTML Source Editor" of mapleprimes

    that are compatible with it ? or all tags described in html5 or html4 are compatible ?

    i just tested a few of those tags and they work excellent ...

    I made 3 years ago a SOKOBAN game using Maple for my Math/Programming class.

    Here is a video of the application:

    Have a nice day!

    Congratulations to Christian Bär, a professor at the University of Potsdam, for winning the first individual prize of The Möbius App Challenge! Christian will be receiving a MacBook Air for his app The Cosmic Travel Planner.

    Maplesoft launched the Möbius App Challenge earlier this year to give Maplesoft community members the opportunity to get involved in the creation of Möbius Apps. This contest seeks to challenge users to create Math Apps using Maple, submit them to The Möbius Project website, then award the most useful, creative, and effective submissions. Finalists from the individual level challenge are chosen four times a year, so make sure to enter the next round of the challenge for your chance at a Maplesoft prize pack!

    For full contest details and to enter, please visit: http://www.maplesoft.com/lp/mobius/index.aspx.

    the seperate physics package update is a great welcome.  i wonder if the scientific constants paxkage could incorporate the same idea.  i can see why the elements properties were put there but it might have made more sense in the physics package.  anyways, the element proprties are continually being updated so it would make sense for small updates to occurr.  any thoughts.
