How is it possible to get the following error message

Error, invalid input: DMat:-DSolveSys expects default value for keyword parameter begynd to be of type Vector, but received {}

?

I thought that the default value of a keyword parameter need not match any particular type, in fact so it says in the help page for 'Procedure Parameter Declarations' :

Why are lists limited to 100 elements?  Will it be expanded?

It appears that once a new version of maple has been released, all refining and polishing up of the previous version stops. 

Are any of the older Maple versions still useful? 

I'm sure they still have their usefulness on older systems that don't have much memory and can't handle the newer versions system requirements.   Besides that, and the renaming of some routines and packages would one ever have the need to go back to an older version?  Let's say for example I have Maple 12, 9.5 and 7 on my machine and I wanted to start a worksheet, would I ever have the need to start one on Maple 7? 

I came across a reference to a Maple package named centermanifold. The reference is: Computation of Center Manifolds, Nov 11, 2000, Robert Corless, Keith Geddes and Xianping Liu.

But I couldn't get my hands on the package, I tried google and email but so far no success, does anyone at mapleprimes know if this package is available somewhere?

Although it's obvious and usual that newer or, the latest versions, consume more resources and CPU power, it is noticeable on a mediocre older system that Maple 13 is slower than Maple 12.  This point is merely for interest sake only and maybe for Maplesoft to take a look into their code to see if they can improve it's performance. 

I have a P4 3 Ghz machine with 2.5 Gb's of RAM.  Basically I just want to find out what is not normal. 

In Maple when I just randomly press keys as fast as I can on my keyboard I can get my CPU usage up to 25%.  Should it really get that high just typing in letters?  What do other people get?

How do I get a description for all the  _Env... , their usage and impacts setting them?

I am lost with the help pages (in classic mode) and do not even find that in the guides

I have run into a problem with assume. I am using Worksheet mode. When I execute the following simple program I get what I expect.

While working with a 114,996 point Statistics:-ScatterPlot in xmaple I keep running out of memory.  I am receving the following output to the terminal I used to start xmaple although no errors are reported via the GUI.  Once these errors start appearing in the terminal my plot (in its own window) still responds but it becomes unusably slow.
