Question: Fly-Through limits the number of camera positions

How can I precisely control the camera position using veiwpoint in an animated  multibody display.

My question arises from an post by John May, http://www.mapleprimes.com/maplesoftblog/95570-Klein-Bottle-Plot

I have attempted to use the excellent articles with multi-body displays and was forced to use plots[display] rather than the plot3d function as described. It went well but eventually found that the Path list is strictly speaking mangled yet the target or look list is perfect.

The target is always in the centre but the camera is not where i expected. It appears viewpoint is limited in the number of camera positions. The animation frame count in my case was well over 200 points and the camera always had the target correctly centered. But it is shooting from arbitrary positions on the path list. How can i force the camera into position .

If I disable the upvector then the camera spins madly ,yet correctly targeting the object. My display is very large with many moving objects and the paths are rather complex. I have a Sky Drive site that has the latest Screen Capture videos.

I have been trying to force the camera to a predictable position and even attempted to place it on a visible sled or inside a transparent sphere. Since this issue is probably related to the default camera settings I had hoped for a suggestion on how to disable the limits.

At the end of my video you can see the camera crashing throough the target Very Interesting . But oddly i should be passing through two thicknesses but only one thickness is apparent. I suspect there are only 50 camera positions used from a much greater number of path points.

video is called Cosine _Bottle_001 and is a wmv

I would like to thank both Robert Israel and John May for the excellent article. Now I suggest that the thoughts be extended to multi=body animations.
