Question: Kernel connection lost in Linux X64 but not in Windows 7 X64

Hi,

I have always been experiencing problems using a university server. It runs Red Hat 6.4 (Santiago) and Maple 17 X64.

The problem never occurs on Windows 7 SP1 X64 with Maple 17 X64.

Only reason I want to use the university machines is that it's "faster".

I had raised the problem with the IT staff at university and they seem to unable to solve it.

All that I am asking, could that be some coding problem, difference between windows and linux version?

Additionally, I am just curious, why would Maple had anything to do with firewall? Is it not all the computation done "offline"?

Say if I dont have internet connection, I cant use Maple??

Code is attached below, can't execute any of the worksheet fully, always gets this error in the middle somehow.

But no problem in windows, just takes time!
