In a worksheet text area

, I would like to use the syntax "SMG↓" to indicate "The dropdown arrow on the right side of the Search Magnifying Glass"

Used

with(DocumentTools):
AddPaletteEntry( "SML↓", palette = "My palette" );

to add SML↓ to a palette called My palette. Then, returning to a text area in the worksheet I click on the item in My palette, expecting the syntax to pop into my document but nothing happens--any suggestions?
