Question: Database Support, Advanced Query Builder and Query Builder

I run Maple 12 Student Edition and I cannot find the  "advanced query builder" to import a database file even though it is supposed

to be included in Maple 12?  I have also looked at the "The Maple Database Integration Toolbox"   but it seams that it only

supports Maple 9.5 and not 12 ? plus it appears to be rather expensive?!  I am also reading that Maple 12 will:

  • works with any database for which a JDBC-compliant driver is available, such as Microsoft® SQL Server®, Microsoft Access™, Sybase™, Oracle®, IBM® DB2®, and MySQL®
  • Allows you to query, update, and create databases from within Maple
  • Automatic result updates without issuing further SQL commands
  • Automatic data conversion between SQL and Maple, allowing natural manipulations within each environment
  • Easy-to-use Maplet assistant for managing connections and building queries makes detailed knowledge of SQL unneces

but I find it extremly difficult to import a simple microsoft access MDB file to Maple.

I do NOT want to download the data, convert it to a database fil, and then upload the data to a microsoft SharePoint and then

import the data to maple. This process seams extremly lenghty. All Maples database support seams to be with

online SharePoint ?!

I want to simply download the data, convert it to a database file and import it to Maple. However, I find it more or less impossible.
