Question: Using Maple 11 for Undergrad Microeconomics Class

Please help!

I am a student of microeconomics & the math is a killer!  I purchased the student Maple 11 but I have no idea how to make it help me solve the problems.  I couldn't post a screenshot here so I posted it to a webpage: http://www.freewebs.com/nurseydiamond/index.htm   so you can see an example of the type of thing I need Maple to do.  The class I take is entirely online & the assignments are all done online through the aplia website www.aplia.com. 

PLEASE help me - how do I use Maple 11 to solve these kinds of problems?  I am hoping that if someone can walk me through this example (see link to example above), then I will be able to duplicate the process on the rest of my homework.  If anyone knows of any economics formula templates for excel or anything, that wouldbe helpful, too.  Thanks much!!!
