I have a copy the Maple 12 on another machine. The work sheet runs fine there.

I see that this forum doesn't wrap lines. My message above said, all successive plots are also showing the same behaviour.

But I haven't changed any configuration options, and it's surprising that the option to plot in such a primitive format

still exists at all. I can't imagine why the graphics card driver could be relevant. Everything worked on Friday.

This solution is particularly helpful, because I can generate a list of polynomials as follows:

I couldn't easily see a way to create such a list using the other approach, being quite new to Maple programming.

I assure you, I did not type that error message myself. Also, your worksheet definitely doesn't work in Maple 12. Fortunately, my work computer has a copy of Maple 13 and it works there. Thank you very much for your solution!

This was looking great until I got to the last line…

Error, FromCoefficientList is not a command in the PolynomialTools package

is this function not available in Maple 12?  What a pity, such a simple solution too. Thank you very much for your help!
