Hi thank you for your answers! @ mmcdara 6059  Unfortunately I don't quite understand how you selected the solutions that verfiy the assumptions. Also why is there a problem using the assumptions with solve? With useassumptions=true maple respected all assumptions I entered. I changed gamma to y and it really did make a difference! But my solutions are still different from yours..my solutions have more restrictions and are rather ugly..

Thank you so much!! It works now! But..I did another comparison and unfortunately I received "FAIL". Is it possible that these terms are too difficult or am I doing something wrong?   (yes the assumptions are a little bit different but that´s correct)

I think it is not uniquely solvable, but I thought I would get a condition for which the inequality holds.
