Couldn't be easier.

Thanks a lot

@Mariusz Iwaniuk

Thank you.

I had that formula from an old astronomy book by J. Meeus; it's got other interesting formulas but I think it is a little too convolute at times and not always clear

I did not think about checking the USNO, good idea.

@Preben Alsholm

I reckon my mother is right when she says sometimes I fail to see things under my nose!

Thank you for your help, I'm not too worried if the proc does not work, I'm more interested in learning Maples.

@Mac Dude Ok, thank you. I found them and it seems to work now.

Thanks a lot

@phil2

I checked the FAQ page but I have not the following files in my Maple.Frameworks:

"\Library\Frameworks\Maple.framework\Versions\[version number]\bin\maple

\Library\Frameworks\Maple.framework\Versions\[versionnumber]\bin.APPLE_UNIVERSAL_OSX\mserver

\Library\Frameworks\Maple.framework\Versions\[versionnumber]\bin.APPLE_UNIVERSAL_OSX\mserver32"

The only thing I have is License.dat

I double checked and Maple is not denied. The dsame thing used to happen with Maple 18.

It works fine, just bothering, that's all

Thanks for your help.

Sorry about the english syntax, I typed in a hurry and did not check it.

Regards,
Martina

@Markiyan Hirnyk

I tried to solve the following:

int(ln(e^x+7), x);
The result us:

(ln|7|*ln|1/7*e^x|)/ln|7| - (dilog(1/7*e^x + 1))/ln|7|

I cannot figure out what tis dilog is, specifically how to put it on paper or how to evaluate it. The fist part of the expression is easy: just calculate substitute the numbers, assign a value to the variable x and you get some sort of result; how do you behave with the second part of the expression when a dilog is involved?

I had a result involving a polylog but I cannot find the example

Thank you

Let me study modules a minute.
I have the Terminator's feeling: "I'll be back!"

Thanks for naow

So, basically you write a procedure within a procedure and then call it any time you want.

Am I correct?

@Preben Alsholm

Thank you for your patience.

I don't use Maple too much, I realize I'm still "green".

Thank you for your kindness.

Ok, if not 2-D math, what should I use?

@Carl Love Even with your changes I still get this Untitled.pdf

Wow!

I couldn't believe it was so bad!

I am still very "fresh" at Maple programming, it's the only excuse I can think of.

Thanks for everything
