Thank you for your answer, but in the derivative of order n of j_alpha (u), the fonction j does not apear in the result.

I have a second question,

If we do the derivative of j_alpha (sqrt (u^2+v^2-2uv cos(phi))), what we will obtain?

@Carl Love  the derivative mentioned  in the picture is correct,

N.B : BesselI (alpha,x) is the modified Bessel fonction of the first kind and order alpha,  alpha>-1/2,

How can I prgramm it?

diff(BesselI(alpha,x),x)=-1/(2(alpha+1))*BesselI(alpha+1,x)

But does not exist in Maple, curently the derivative of BesselI(alpha,x) equal to 

diff(BesselI(alpha,x),x)=BesselI(alpha+1,x)+alpha/x*BesselI(alpha,x)

May you help me?
