This is a typo in the question, it's ok in the file. There would be another error message, if these were the case. When F is removed from rhe system via f=const, V_0=0 the systen can be solved anakytically and has two branches. One of them is singular and the other is regular. this is why I suggest that the problem is in maple choosing the wrong branch.
