Nope, it is a dot. This expression is the result of two contractions of many tensors. Leaving these two scalers to not simplify. This expression is pretty simple, but I also have expressions multiple lines long, which can't really be typed over. To be absolutely precise, the expression reads:

 (sqrt(M+m) sqrt(M-m).(sqrt(M+m) sqrt(M-m))
