That's great thanks, worked just as I wanted.

I changed to uppercase in B as the matrices X and Y were uppercase, so I'm guessing it didn't recognise it. Either way, it works now so thanks a lot.

Thanks for the reply, and it seems to work except when I do it it doesn't give me values back, just simply tells me I have a 50x1 matrix. I put exactly what you did (although I had yo chance x and y in B to upper case) so I'm guessing it's just the input I did wrong with X and Y?

I'm copying over from excel and putting as a matrix, is this wrong?
