Well, I really don't know where to begin, I just want to add some random functions to a list that makes them automatically appear non-italic in math mode. Now I have to go back and edit while noting lectures if I want it to be aesthetic (: ( blah blah span{|matrix|} blah blah --> blah blah span{|matrix|} blah blah)

I'm using maple 11.02. As for the bracket matching, it happens every time I use the { }-brackets, no matter what's inside them. It doesn't happen with other brackets. {a_1,...,a_2} would yield an error, as would {x_n} or {}.

It's a bit tedious, but with a nice search algorithm ("<" and ">" matches every occur), I'm saved. Thanks :)

It's pretty much anything that contains a>b. My maple version is 11.02, but the problem has existed since I began using maple with 11.00.
