Emm not exactly. Sorry i didnt make myself clear enough. Well here's the story: I have 2 disks (dispalyed on the same plot). i want to copy them as many times as possible to fit in a 10x10.

in the x axis the translation is just (a)i

In the y axis the translation is (-a)i +(3a)j.

they are both in a vector form

a is just a constant 2.52

that's why i said 2 times in the y axis and 3 times in x because i have to display them in a 10x10

hope it make sense now

 

if u have any background in physics - the 2 disks are 2 different atoms that form a unit cell and i need to create the whole structure which is a 10x10.
