MaplePrimes Activity

I find the branch structure of the new site extremely hard to navigate.

Roman_Pearce summed it up quite well.  The branch structure in the old primes was so easy to navigate.  This site needs some work.

Wow!  I missed the post I could have added to it.

I find this is proof of much confusion on the new site.

Yep, gone again.  Probably something to do with the changeover.  Those launch day hiccups are reverberating into the old primes.  Hopefully just some difficulties in migrating over to the new site.

By the level of response I gather that this is not possible in Maple.

And this subject should actually be moved to the technical discussion forum unfortunately I don't have the power to do so.

Actually both versions do the same thing.  I guess the circle option in plot just defaults to a sphere in pointplot3d.

Okay, it was deleted somehow.  I had to re-upload it.

It must be something to do with the change-over.  Hope we don't loose any posts.

I saw something strange too.  I wrote a post then changed my mind and saw a delete post at the bottom so I clicked on it, something did happen but I was waiting for it to say success but it got stuck and froze up.  Then I tried to get back in, I got back to my post but the delete option was gone then somehow it came back and I hit delete again but it all froze up.  Maybe that was it?  Normally I'm not allowed to delete but the option came available.

Thanks.  How can I display what portions of the package I have loaded?

Your original question says you wanted a region.

What your asking now, is different.
plot(1,x=1..infinity)

Whoa!  I didn't even know that existed!  I was wondering how some replies got answered so quickly sometimes.

No problems.  I probably didn't add enough information.

Thanks for the alternates.  It's always interesting to see other ways to accomplish the same task.

Usually people like to stick with commands they're most comfortable with or commands they are most familiar with.
