However, I am not quite satisfied. I was trying to pin out that I want maple to return me the value of s2 in 2D mode (just like maple mode does below):

I remember my maple has done it before. I feel demented: Either, I cannot remember where I changed the settings or if I have seen it before.

The variable s2 is of course defined properly but not shown (sorry for that).
