Dear Power Users, I am trying to master Maple coming from another software. I encounter a problem in finding a simple way to find the best parameters for a fitting function. Would someone be so kind to help me out? Thank you in advance for your willingness to help.

This is probably a dummy question. I have a matrix (3 columns, 4 rows). I would like to extract the rows in which the value in the third column matches "2". As long as one has a matrix of 2 columns, this can be easily done by using the Lookup command but it does not allow you to give the row values of multiple columns. Is there another command that allows you to do that?

Dear power users, I am still struggling with relative simple tasks and do hope that some of you can help me in the right direction. Solving an ODE is straightforward in Maple. But how do you solve an ODE with multiple inputs, as shown in the attached worksheet. I would appreciate any help with respect to my question.
