pagan: I'm trying it in Maple 14 since I didn't get around to loading Maple 15 to my laptop yet. I'll install Maple 15 and try again.

Acer: My goal isn't simply to get a rotation animated, I'm trying to show to my students what the rotation transformation (with the formula displayed) does to the unit square. Btw, I don't know Maple much, so I couldn't follow much of your response. Sorry.
