Thanks for your help. As You know, I have another problem similar to the previous:

I Can not get that the expected numerical result , appears in the field (third row) designated for it; in its place appears the instruction that should generates the value of the root by the bisection method.

Could you help me and said me what's my error? Thank you in advance.

Yes, you're right. The difference in the code that generates error regarding to that you send me, is that: The instructions are not grouped, in each one, there is a Maple input prompt.

Now the problem is that the only function that works, is the 'sin()' function!!

I'm sorry but, I had not tried it, I just check the code logic and it seems correct to me, but when running, I get the same error, here's the copy of the run:
