even if I use a simple x^2+y^2 plot I get these funny gaps at the botom of the plot. I have looked through the FAQ files and can't seem to find a solution to it... is there one ?? from what I have seen so far there does not seem to be an easy solution. with a graph like the type above to change to coords=spherical or cylindrical does not show the same graph due to that change.

I'm not sure my upload worked but I have either missed something or I still have trouble with maple speak. My problem shown in my work sheet. Maybe I missed a substituton somewhere I'm not sure, but either way I end up with 2 equations in 3 unknowns.If the worksheet did not upload I'll try again.

Thanks to all who can help..

Hello All;

So far it's been cooperative. but I started from basic things wand worked my way through. I am now at the point where I need thisgs done and can't figure how to do them... shrort of rewriting the equations in the form I want.

I am working on exact differential equations and I need to convert this form:
