@Markiyan Hirnyk thanks so much for both replies. It doesn't look like simplex is actually deprecated, is there any update for the package or its elements like display or convert(C,std)? Worth noting that it seems necessary to convert output to newer forms, possibly in more than 1 step, e.g.

 b:=convert(Matrix(op(dsp)[2]),Vector)
