@Carl Love Thank you. I've attached the code that we've managed to do so far, think we've got most of it. Not really sure how to add artificial variables though. I've attached the best description that I could find for the method as well.

This is probably a long shot seeing as it was 6 years ago but...
I've just been give the same task to do of writing a general code for the revised simplex method in Maple. I was wondering if you ever managed to figure it out?
