Tnx for your fast answer. My expression, which came from an engineering problem is identified with VAR (see attached file) It transpires that optimize command gives more chances to reduce the size of the expression rather than the simplify one. However, it is practically immpossible to change the assigments t1,t2...see the attached files. I apprecciate a lot. Bye. Paolo.
