@tomleslie thank you. well, I need eps because I want to include this in a latex file. the export to jpg and gif works fine, but they are not the formats I want.

@tomleslie no, the file size I get is about 70 kB and I used different viewers (including the implementation into a Latex file), so it seems as if there is really nothing in this file (besides the coordinate system). Maybe there is a problem with the file size, but I just reduced the number of points and it still does not export the sphere. Unfortunately, I don't know of any restrictions regarding the creation of these files.

@tomleslie thanks, I am using Windows 8 and Maple 18(Student edition). I want to stress that it only happens for 3d plots. I am able to export ordinary 2d plots in eps without any difficulties.

@Rouben Rostamian   okay, I am using Windows 8, but I don't see why Windows should cause any problems here. It is also not the viewer, as other viewers also show me that there is no plot in this file.

@Rouben Rostamian  Maple_file.mw <-here I uploaded now a similar plot and now if I export this plot, I don't see the colourful sphere (using .eps output).
