That was a quick response! Thanks :) It is so much easier to write symbols with code than having to use your mouse trying to write them in handwriting. Is there really no way of writing a symbol with code? What I like about LaTeX is that you don't have to spend a lot of time trying to get the best layout of your document. LaTeX does it for you. Is there as similar way to get Maple to take care of all the layout stuff? The ctrl+= still don't work.
