So, is it ok to assume from hereon that whenever I get 'ee', the matrices are equal?

Hi,

I am sorry for not uploading the worksheet before. I have not made this worksheet myself. I am just using a friends worksheet and made a few modifications for my use.

I am expecting to see a Zero matrix in the equation 6.1.2.6 and 6.1.2.7 but Maple is outputting "ee". Are they the same?

I am using Maple 12.

thanks a lot for pointing out the difference. I changed the floats to fractions and its giving me the right eigenvalues.
