My mistake, the program itself is not 64-bit, just the OS is.  So, in that case, I can try the compatibility mode!

Right now I have the autosave disabled and I haven't had a crash, yet.  But, I'll mess with it to see if the compatibiilty mode will solve the issue altogether.
