Thanks for the workaround.  I would like to modify this now for a 2D system.  How would you plot the curve (x(t),y(t)) and shade under this curve?  In odeplot I can tell it to plot (x,y) instead of (t,x) and (t,y) which is what I get with the plot command above.  Thanks again!
