Thanks for your input. You're right, I have two dependant and two independant variables which is why I would like a 3-D animation. I'm sorry to sound vague, but it seems to be some kind of a 2-D animation on a 3-D axes. This is an image of a similar sort of visual effect which I wish to emulate:

However, they achieve this with a known function, however, I have only numeric points. The 3-D plot looks quite similar, so I'm guessing this is possible in Maple.
