@Carl Love The data is actually from a freshman class, after they completed there freshman year.  I knew it was the brackets and I tried to remove the brackets using the op command, but I could not get it to work.  

I am not use to using arrays.  I generally only work with list in maple so I was not sure what to do.  Thanks for taking the time and responding.  I really do appricate it.

Thanks for responding.  I didn't use your way but I did figure it out.  If you are interested this is what I did.  It took me a while but after finding the mul command I figured it out right away.
