Hello pagan,

i believe i need to reed and practice much more before i will be able to use Maplets. I dont know if you got a little bit of time left to help me once more but if the answer is yes you can find a Maple worksheet with what i achieved so far (i have to admit that it is really not much) if you follow this link:

http://www.mediafire.com/?08p92a63xfha4lv

I would really appreciate if you could have a look at it, maybe comment it and upload it back again. Please let me know if it is possible to pull the data from the array in the way i described it in the worksheet.

Many thanks in advance

Hello Pagan,

first of all i want to sax thank you for your answer. I believe i own you a better description of what i would like to do:

I prepared myself a worksheet with different calculations which include yield strength information of different metals. Right now i am putting in the name of the material and the yield strength information manually from a printed table, what i want to have is a DropBox to select the material from and then automatically set the yield strength information into my worksheet.

So i prepared a table with the following columns "name", "yield strength at 100°C", "yield strength at 150°C" and so on. The table has only six rows yet but i want to expand it to several more later. So the question is: How do i get the data written in all the rows of the first column "name" to show up in the DropBox (which i assume would be the best solution to achieve what i want, if you disagree please let me know what kind of element you would prefer in the described case)

I hope that this explanation could shed a little more light on my intentions.

cheers

Matthias
