I have a bunch of points (x,y). I turned the points into a graph and then asked maple to give me the equation to the line.

It's mostly accurate however,..it's not close enough.

When I test the equation I can see some deviation from where it should be.

In some places the deviation is rather significant.

Does anyone know what I can do to get this more accurate??

I am trying to get the equation of a line. I have a buch of points and need the equation of a line going through those points. I am making computer program that can finde the y value of any point on the line with the equation I'm trying to get and an X value.

So, I have some points,..

I can get the graph,..but not the equation for that graph...

Is this posable,...?? I can't seem to find out how...
