This is a function of how we deal with black-box functions in concurrent plotting. Since we need to generate a value for every output (the GUI can't handle black-box functions), we evaluate these at each step. We suspect that if you ran the simulation from Maple using the MapleSim API commands (LinkModel > Simulate), you may be able to get around this.
