It still does not explain though why Maple would use different method to perform the same integral. Perhaps as Alec said, the normal procedure of Maple doesn't make much sense for someone casually looking into it while the answers provided by the tutor must be pedagogical...

I have chromadepth3D glasses and I've had lots of problems trying to visualize a 3D graph in eal 3D. It would be nice if some function would color code the graphs to make them appear in 3D with the proper glasses.
