How can I extract the maximum amplitude data only? As in the 8.68 bit? I am trying to use:

ggg:=MAX( , , , ,)

fff:=MIN(, , , ,)

max(ggg, abs(fff))

How can I do this, do you know?

If we were to say that:
_C3 := 0.5;
_C4 := 0;

b := 0.8;
g := 2000000;
e := 2.8;

In the range of t from 0 to say 10. I am still unable to plot this function for x(t). 

Any reason as to why this may be?


I do the call (after running dsolve and setting all the values for the variables):
plot(x(t), t = 0 .. 10)

I just get:
Warning, unable to evaluate the function to numeric values in the region; see the plotting command's help page to ensure the calling sequence is correct

With an empty graph displayed also.
