Hi,

I need to calculate the following

COC=ln|x2-o||x1-o |^(-1)/ln|x1-o||x0-o|^(-1)

Where "o" is root of eq. I already have a programe calculating difference of consecutive terms and i need this to be calculated and printed right after that value.

I am basically new to maple and dont know much about syntax and how to code this whole thing amd commands of maple, although i use the right syntax but every time there is an error warning. Please if you can help me in coding and give me a couple minutes of your timings.

PS: I am doing it in maple 7 which doesnot seem to be working fine with it. Which verson of maple are you using?
