No such luck with the firewall. I've totally disabled it and I still get the same errors. I created packet rules to let any of the maple exes (Including the java ones) do whatever they want with the network, to no avail. I'm thinking it's a problem with my java install however I've un/reinstalled java more times than I could count. I seem to recall, a fair while ago, using a java uninstaller that removed every trace of java and all it's assorted do-dads and reinstalling, but this didn't fix maple either. I'm running Kerio Personal Firewall, for reference. Thanks for the help Kevin, I'd really like to get maple humming along again. --Tjhowse--

I made sure that I uninstalled Maple 9.5 and removed the "Waterloo Maple" registry key before I installed 10.0. Perhaps some java config files somewhere are storing that path. I'll have a look into that. --Tjhowse-- Edit: I had a look into window's environment variables and I found a global variable named "maple" with the 9.5 path in it. I updated it to "c:/program files/maple 10" and now the error message shows the correct path.
