MaplePrimes Activity

@Christopher2222

Unfortunately, the file is extremely large (I have never attempted such a task, it is 20 +pgs) and it will take me  quite a  few days to reduce its size. I imagine it is about time I  started to use procedures. The problem now is understanding the MaplePrimes editor and simply hitting the correct mouse buttons.

It seems a truism that half the problem is solved when one writes it out and now that it is solved by changing to plots{display]and using location=  i will try and condense the issue into a demonstration or example sheet.

Now the issue has turned about on its head and the visual style needs much work; too much information and the viewer is left  perplexed. The animations require some fixed reference markers to facilitate comprehension.

Thanks and Cheers

I suspect that your curve is free form and not a clearly defined function or  a multiple of seperate curves...

So one approach may be to use TNB-Frame to follow the principal curve and create adjacent curves as a function of the primary .

The example that comes to mind uses parametric form for the curve is easy to manipulate.Then new spacecurves allow you to use polygon plot to lay out surfaces. Stick with TNB-Frame and you will have all the ability to examine Tangents Velocity and Acceleration . The archives have some example sheets.You will probably find the frame useful for locating the side rails and then the center rail. I used it to wrap multiple pipes around Tower like structures.

My code is very large and not posted but i have a Sky Drive site for examples.

If you can not find the example sheets i may still have a copy.
