This problem should now be fixed in the new MaplePrimes

As I've said before. Those files are gone for good.

I don't believe it was the migration to the new site that caused them to be lost. I do not know the reason they were lost, but they cannot be recovered.

Please don't worry about reporting missing images because nothing can be done to recover those files.

I've converted this into a Question

@Alec Mihailovs No, we haven't implemented a limit to the amount of reputation you can lose in a day. If we see odd behavior with people losing reputation, we will consider adding such a limit.

I'm not sure what you mean by "maplethread". If you mean e-mail notifications, you will no longer receive notifications from categories, only individual threads.

The images have been replaced. I'm looking to see what caused this problem.

We actually don't need to add a new button for creating a citation, you can already "Branch" any Post, Question, Comment or Answer on Primes using the Branch link that appears in the footer of each item.

This will store a relation between the two items.

What is happening is your web browser is displaying the pages that are in its cache instead of checking with the Primes server to see if the page has changed.

There is nothing that we can do to change your browser's behavior. I have never had the same problem myself in IE8, Firefox 3.5 or in Chrome 5. I suggest you try using a different browser, I'm assuming you are still seeing this behavior in IE6.

Sorry, MaplePrimes does not support advanced searches like you describe.

We might consider adding that feature. Can you post examples of how you would like to combine the tags?

The new reputation system is very different than the old Maple Points system. In new Primes, you can only gain reputation by having other users vote up your Posts, Questions and Answers. This means that your reputation completely relies on how other people react to what you do on the site.

The old Maple Points system was purely based on how much you posted to the site. If someone were to come to Primes and post hundreds of terrible blog posts, they would still receive a high number of Points even if no one finds value in the posts.

For this reason, we chose not to directly copy the points from old Primes into new Primes. We chose to instead re-calculate the Reputation based on how other people react to your items. And the only way to do this in bulk is to count the comments that your items have received.

You don't need to worry about the classification of Comments or Answers, both Comments and Answers count equally to you receiving the reputation value from them.

We understand that the conversion isn't perfect but we think it was useful to fill in the reputation scores so that people could quickly see the top users of MaplePrimes.

True, people think of Maple leaves as blue, but as is clear when looking at Maplesoft's main site, the corporate color for Maplesoft is blue, so we're matching with that for our employee badges.
